  • Beyond The Pale is an over 21s event.

    You must be aged 21 or over to gain access to Beyond The Pale with the exception of children aged 12 or below who must be accompanied by a paying parent/guardian over 21 years. Persons aged 13-20 are not allowed entry to the festival site.

  • Allows access to the general campsites as well as the festival arenas.

    Beyond the Pale General Weekend Camping ticket holders must be aged 21 or over.

  • Under 12s Children’s Tickets are available to purchase, but MUST be accompanied by an over 21’s parent or guardian ticket holder. Must have a separate ticket.

    Children under 3 years old do not require a ticket.

    Family camping is available. Camp Badger will be a separate area for families attending Beyond The Pale.

  • You must purchase a general weekend camping ticket per person AND one general campervan ticket per campervan to gain entry to the campervan site. You must have a campervan to stay in the campervan section.

    Caravans are also permitted in the campervan area. However, once positioned you will need to unhitch and park your car in the car park.

    Camping is not permitted in the campervan site. You are not permitted to erect a tent in this section.

    Any vehicle attached to a campervan ticket must meet the following criteria;
    - It must be a purpose built or adapted to live in vehicle.
    - It must have a separate door to the living accommodation
    - It must have at a minimum fixed seat and tables, sleeping accommodation (can be converted from seats and table), cooking facilities.

  • Yes! You can secure your ticket for just €65 (+ booking fee) and spread the rest of the cost over three monthly installments.

    • 1st instalment - Upfront (before 10pm 29th March)

    • 2nd instalment - 19th April 2024

    • 3rd instalment - 14th May 2024

    • 4th instalment - 7th June 2024

  • We’re going freelow and changing our BYOB policy after listening to your feedback about last year.

    The rest of our alcohol policy remains the same as previous years.

    All containers must be open when entering the main arena.

    Alcohol can be brought on-site at time of first entry only: there’s-no re-entry with alcohol once you’ve been wrist-banded. 

    Weekend camping ticket holders will be allowed to bring 24 cans OR 1 litre of spirits OR 1.5 litres of wine on site for personal consumption.

    Day ticket holders are not permitted to bring alcohol.

    No glass containers are permitted on site whatsoever.

    Please ensure you have decanted your alcohol into a reusable bottle prior to arriving at the festival.

  • We won’t restrict the number of open containers you can bring into the main arena from campsites.

  • There are public drinking water points throughout the site. We encourage you to bring a reusable water bottle.

  • Yes. We highly encourage bringing reusable water bottles and coffee cups to the festival. We will have free water refilling stations across the site. No glass containers are permitted on site whatsoever.

  • Yes there will be an exciting selection of beverages available to purchase from our bars and vendors.

  • There will be a curated selection of vendors selling a delicious assortment of food and refreshing drinks as part of our Beyond The Plate programme curated by food writer Ali Dunworth.

  • Our food and drink vendors cater for a range of dietary requirements.

  • Yes in the campsites only but there are no open fires, naked flames or disposable BBQs allowed on campsites or in the Festival grounds.

  • We have plenty of entertainment for all the family, including a Tailteann Tournaments games area, theatre and circus performances. More details to be announced closer to the festival.

  • Parking for the festival is located approx. 10 minute walk from the campsite. Parking is free and we strongly encourage carpooling where possible!

  • There will be phone charging facilities on site. Please ensure your phones are fully charged before arriving at the festival.

  • The health and safety of our attendees is paramount. Searches will be conducted upon entry to the festival. Anyone found carrying illicit items will have them confiscated and may be removed from the festival and passed over to the Garda as a result.

    The following items are not allowed: - Fireworks, Chinese Lanterns, flares and high power torches
    - Naked flames like candles or campfires BBQs
    - Alcohol (over and above your personal allowance)
    - Illicit drugs, legal highs or nitrous oxide
    - Glass
    - Animals (except assistance dogs) - Anything which could be considered an offensive weapon
    - Drones
    - Gas Cylinders are not allowed anywhere including campervans.
